We want to tell you a secret, it’s the event of the year on Lake Como!
Dolce & Gabbana have planned to make a fashion show in July at Villa Carlotta and at Teresio Olivelli park , both located in the beautiful Tremezzo, on the banks of Lake Como.
Four days to present an international event that will see the participation of 400 guests from all over the world and about fifty representatives of international newspapers such as Time, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times.
The fair, as always hosted in the suggestive Piazza Cavour, starts on Saturday, August 26, under the large air-conditioned tent that will collect hundreds and hundreds of new and used books, old volumes, vintage prints, posters, tourist guides and much more, offering a wide and heterogeneous choice for all tastes and pockets.
The appointment will be daily, opening from late morning until late Sunday, September 10th.
Rich as always, you will have the opportunity to attend book presentations, meetings with authors, and to participate in debates on cultural, literary, historical, topical issues.

Since its first edition, the Challenger ATP “City of Como” has hosted players like Simone Bolelli, Federico Luzzi, Filippo Volandri, Thomas Muster (formerly number one in the world) Kevin Anderson, Nicolas Massu, Alexandr Dolgopolov, Dominic Thiem (seventh winner in the world), Andrey Kuznetsov and Viktor Troicki.
The semifinals begin on Thursday, August 24, 2017.
The final is Friday, first match fixed at 10.30 and the winner will enter the main tournament at Atp tournament. The Challenger’s “City of Como” schedule will then qualify on August 26th and 27th, while the main draw will be on August 28th. The final is scheduled for Sunday, September 3rd.

Wander through historic neighborhoods and take in the vibrant cultural atmosphere while sampling tasty focaccia and handmade breadsticks, followed by a choice of local cheeses. If you are a cheese lover you are in the right place: with the mountains in proximity, dairy delights can be found here.
Learn all about the cooking process from your expert guide as you savor a tasting of fresh lakefish and typical local finger food in one of the most popular “gastronomia” in Como.
Next, visit one of the most famous “enoteca” to sample a delicious local wine together with an exquisite tasting of the finest local sliced meats such as bresaola, prosciutto, salame and mortadella. Our expert guide will explain the various wines produced in the area. This ends the morning tour and twilight tour version.
In the full tour version lunch or dinner is included in a typical restaurant renowned for highlighting the ancient lake and land flavors in its dishes. Lunch/Dinner includes a sample of 2 pasta dishes, a glass of wine, water and the famous Italian espresso.

Have you ever thought of watching a good movie in front of a big screen 15 meters wide and 8 meters high with the beautiful atmosphere of Lake Como? You now have the opportunity to do so if you attend the screenings of “Cinema in the Arena”! It is the fourth edition of the Lake Como Film Festival dedicated to the cinema and landscape of the Como area. Guests are able to choose from eleven incredible films from the most important international film festivals.
The film festival will unfold over a period of five weeks beginning on June 23rd and ending on July 31st, opening with a series of films that involve different locations in the Como area. The heart of the festival will take place at the newfound Sociale Arena Theatre, which is located in the city center of Como. With ten days of international cinema on one of the largest panoramic screens, you should definitely not miss out on this great opportunity! The Festival will move along the beautiful gardens of the Villas on Lake Como and other urban locations.

This month, from June 16th – June 22nd, you can come out and enjoy Swing Crash Festival, an outdoor swing music and dance event. Better yet, as a guest at our hotel, you do not even have to walk far to get there, as it is held in Piazza Cavour, right outside our hotel! Swing Crash Festival is intended to reproduce the music, fashion, and glamour of the 30’s and 40’s. Events will range from dance classes, to jam sessions, parties & concerts and dance competitions. Some of the featured artists will be Jenny Thomas, Moe Sakan, Vincenzo Fesi, and NP Big Band. Come out and have a memorable evening by listening to some great music, dancing and socializing with friends.
